The Graduate Scheme “A” Training Program

The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) considers that the qualities required by a Professional Engineer can best be developed and attained by graduates who have thoroughly integrated their theoretical knowledge with the practical skills required to apply that knowledge. The purpose of the Scheme “A” Training is to provide registered graduate trainees with the opportunity to achieve this necessary reinforcement of theory with practice.

Job Description:

  • Handle correspondence independently and provide secretarial support to Executive office
  • Prepare general business correspondence, presentation and reports

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education with formal secretarial training; with minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in supporting senior management
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills

Job Description:

  • Provide technical consultancy to customers, create value by improving customer’s production process.
  • Be a solution provider for die-casting, electroplating and stamping process
  • Provide technical support to internal department
  • Visit customer plant, perform on-site inspection, carry out technical work and montior the outcome.
  • Prepare technical reports, seminars and workshops materials
  • Coordinate Engineering Change Control.
  • Prepare APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA for automotive products.
  • To perform other ad hoc projects and/or duties as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years experience in manufacturing companies
  • Degree/ Higher Diploma in Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent disciplines
  • Fluent in Mandarin and good communication skills
  • With technical knowledge of die-casting and electroplating is advantage
  • Practical experiences in 3D drawing software is advantage
  • Candidates with higher qualification and work experience will be considered for Assistant Technical Manager

Job duties:

  • Generate sales, identify business opportunities, and develop new accounts;
  • Maintain sustainable relationship with customers by providing support, information, and guidance
  • Meet with customers and orders follow up
  • Work closely with customer liaison, supply chain and finance teams to deliver quality service

Requirements:

  • Tertiary educated; candidates with technical academic background is preferred but not a must
  • 2 years or above experience in Sales
  • Outgoing, highly committed and hardworking with positive work attitude
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A good team player with strong presentation, interpersonal, communication and convincing skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin is an advantage

  • Business travel to Southern China is required

Job Description:

  • Lead procurement team in both Hong Kong and PRC office to oversee daily activities;
  • Department budget control and planning;
  • Develop procurement strategies to maximize cost savings and create synergies for the Company;
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality internal customer services;
  • Maintain interface with vendors and manufacturers to ensure that materials and requirements meet established standards and that applicable policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed;
  • Evaluate purchase requisitions for compliance to established business controls, including contract terms, risk assessment, pricing, supplier selection, and take appropriate actions to ensure the required level of business control are met; &
  • Ensure purchasing activities aligned to corporate compliance.

Requirements:

  • Degree or above in Purchasing, Supply Chain or business related disciplines;
  • Min. 3 years managerial experience in Procurement with sizable organization;
  • Solid experience in strategic planning and establishing the work procedures of the Department, and experience in ERP as well;
  • Relevant experience in handling raw materials is an absolute advantage (not a must);
  • Good leadership with business acumen analytical mindset, initiative and result oriented;
  • Have strong communication, negotiation and presentations skills;
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English & Chinese, including Mandarin;
  • Occasional travel to PRC will be required;
  • Immediate available is highly preferred.
